Kate Frederick Awarded International Dissertation Prize at XIX World Economic History Congress

Kate was awarded the distinction for her thesis Deindustrialization in East Africa: Textile Production in an Era of Globalization and Colonization 1830-1940. We are extremely proud and congratulate Kate on this great achievement, with which she has set an amazing example for all of those involved in taking the field of African Economic History forward.
